Welcome!
Hola :)
Let me introduce you to myself. I am Miss Kubin and I teach 6th grade math in Houston, TX. Currently, I have 2 years teaching experience on my belt. I attended Texas A&M University for my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am currently in my master's program at Lamar University for Educational Technology Leadership.
I have always wanted to become a teacher. I know that you are thinking, "yeah right" or "I don't believe you", but it seriously is the truth. When I was attending daycare before Kindergarten, I was already "teaching" a pretend classroom at home and wanted teaching supplies for Christmas or my birthday.
One thing most people know about me is that I pretty much teach myself how to do things I am interested in before others teach me. I don't claim to be an expert whatsoever. I am a sharer and love to share my thoughts and opinions of everything I do. Some people don't like that and others love it. I hope by creating this blog, I can share all the sites and activities I have found and/or created for those interested as well as other share your thoughts and opinions.
I ask that if you don't like anything in my blog, don't leave negative feedback, but provide some ideas on how to fix things. I want to become better, and I welcome any constructive feedback you may give.
Welcome to My Random Life of Teaching, Lauren Kubin
